Hymenocallis littoralis

Description

Hymenocallis littoralis or Spider Lilly is a bulbous plant. Leaves are long, fleshy, up to 60cm long, glossy green. Flowers are in sessile umbel, white, with extra long tube, up to 20cm long, the segments narrow, and the corona deep.

Strong flower display and strappy leaves. Does well as a bedding, edging, border plant or in pots, containers, in focal points, entrance areas, roof gardens or en masse. Grows 45-60cm tall with a 30-45cm spread. Fast growing.
