Description
Fast-growing, Plumeria obtusa is a small rounded tree boasting sweetly fragrant white flowers, across 7 cm, adorned with yellow throats and rounded petals that often are recurved at the tips. Blooming from spring to autumn, the blossoms are borne in bouquet-like clusters at the branch tips. Leathery, narrowly elliptic, shiny dark green leaves with rounded tips, 20-30cm long, are clustered near the tips of the thick, eshy, succulent branches. Evergreen, White Frangipani works well as a freestanding specimen, a patio tree, or as part of a mid shrub border.
