Spathiphyllum or Peace Lily
With the graceful common name “peace lily”, Spathiphyllum is an easy care, low light houseplant. It also removes many toxins from indoor air including formaldehyde and ammonia.
SPATHIPHYLLUM (Air Purifying Plant)
COMMON NAME: Peace lily, Spathe flower
BOTANICAL/SCIENTIFIC NAME: Spathiphyllum Wallisii
LIGHT: They like light, however, direct sunshine can damage plant leaves. A mixture of light and shade is great, if you can provide it. If you see the leaves yellowing this could be caused by too much sunlight.
WATERING: During the summer, water and mist the plant frequently because they thrive with higher humidity like that of the rainforest. In winter, reduce watering but never allow the soil to dry out. Your plant will let you know when it needs more.
HUMIDITY: Misting leaves regularly will improve humidity and keep it happy.
